Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) Scholarship Programmes

YSD is now offering scholarships and bursaries to deserving Malaysians with excellent academic results and leadership qualities for vocational studies, certificates, diplomas and undergraduate studies in local and foreign institutions.
Over the last 30 years, more than 3,000 students have benefited from our scholarships. In 2016, YSD offered 426 scholarships and bursaries in various disciplines for Malaysians and other nationals from areas where Sime Darby operates in.

Minamas – Sime Darby Scholarship Programme

Minamas Plantation is now offering scholarships to capable and eligible students in Indonesia to pursue tertiary education in an effort to nurture young and outstanding talents

YSD Excellence Scholarship Programmes

YSD supports well-rounded students with outstanding academic achievements, active involvement in extracurricular activities and participation in community service.

YSD Bursary Programmes

This category awards individuals from low income families and OKU students with satisfactory academic performance to pursue higher education at reputable academic institutions in Malaysia.

YSD Skill Enrichment Programmes

YSD extends its scholarship assistance to those who wish to pursue technical certificate and diploma programmes at Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare and Sime Darby Industrial Academy. The scholarships covers tuition fees, and monthly allowance.

YSD Employees & Employees’ Children Education Programmes

This category awards Sime Darby Berhad Employee who are interested to pursue diploma or undergraduate studies locally on a part-time basis or full time postgraduate studies overseas in the fields of study which are relevant to Sime Darby’s business needs.
