Scholarship details
Overview
This scholarship is open to all Malaysian citizens. Candidates need to meet the terms set by the organising committee of the UK Commonwealth Scholarship, as stated below:
Criteria
Applicant must meet all the below requirements
Candidates must be
- A Kerajaan Kumpulan Pengurusan & Profesional officer who is currently serving on a full-time basis.
- Has been verified to be part of the service scheme as of the closing date (February 22, 2018).
- Not older than 50 years of age for those pursing a PhD, and 45 years of age for those pursuing a Master's (as of January 1, 2018).
- Achieved a minimum Laporan Nilaian Prestasi Tahunan (LNPT) average of 85% for 3 consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016)
- Free of any accusations/punishments due to disciplinary issues and have not been convicted/accused in court
- Not listed on the JPA blacklist
- Not following a short course overseas for the next ONE year OR a long course for the next TWO years (effective from December 1, 2017).
- The course pursued is related to the field on which the officer is working in
- Not receiving a sponsorship of any other kind
- Following a course that is of a study level higher than their current highest academic qualification
