APU Merit Scholarships 2014

The APU's long term mission & vision is to provide access to world-class education to a broad spectrum of Malaysian students. As part of our continuous efforts to provide better opportunities to pursue higher education at Malaysia's Award-Winning University - APU, we are offering deserving & talented school leavers a wide range of merit scholarships.

Apart from academic excellence, APU is also rewarding those with strong leadership qualities & high achievements in sports both at state & national levels. These individuals deserve brighter futures and APU shall help to make it happen.

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
10 A+	100% Scholarship (Full tuition fee waiver, interview required)	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.70 at the end of each academic year.
9 A's	50% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.30 at the end of each academic year.
8 A's	40% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
7 A's	30% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.70 at the end of each academic year.
6 A's	20% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.60 at the end of each academic year.
4 - 5 A's	10% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year.

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
12 points & below in 6 subjects	50% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.30 at the end of each academic year.
13 - 15 points & in 6 subjects	35% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
16 - 20 points & in 6 subjects	20% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.60 at the end of each academic year.

O-Levels
9 A's	30% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
8 A's	20% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.70 at the end of each academic year.
7 A's	10% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.60 at the end of each academic year.

A-Levels
AAA	30% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
AAB	20% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.60 at the end of each academic year.

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
3.7 and above in 3 subjects	30% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
3.4 in 3 subjects	20% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.60 at the end of each academic year.

International Baccalaureate (IB)
37 points	30% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
26 - 36 points	20% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.60 at the end of each academic year.

Sportsman Scholarships
National Player	40% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year.
State Player	25% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year.

East Malaysia Community Scholarships
SPM, STPM & UEC Qualifications from schools in Sabah and Sarawak	15% Scholarship	Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis and are renewable upon meeting minimum CGPA 2.50 at the end of each academic year.
